Description

Established in 2004, the Centre is a provincial agency of the Government of Ontario. It is responsible for delivering education, information and advice on water treatment, equipment, technology and operational requirements and environmental issues related to drinking water. The Centre delivers training to drinking water systems owners, operators, and operating authorities across the Province of Ontario. Virtual training is now offered across Canada and the USA. The Centre is now leading First Nations training for the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. As well, the Centre provides advice, information and promotes public education on drinking water safety and water quality issues.

The Centre’s Helpline and DWRL help improve the understanding of common drinking water issues. The Helpline allows the public to contact the Centre with technical questions related to drinking water treatment, operational requirements, or environmental factors. The DWRL is an online library containing more than 5,000 resources that have been previously reviewed by the Centre on topics of importance to water professionals. In addition, the Centre provides advice to the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks regarding any research needed to achieve and maintain high quality safe drinking water.
The Centre has expanded its drinking water training programs and related services. It’s profile has grown to become the province’s leading entity focused on applied research, technology demonstration and high-quality training as it relates to drinking water.
The Centre requires a LMS which will have the minimum following functionalities
• Have the ability to have multiple Portals, with varying levels of access;
o Administrative Portal
o Trainer Portal
o Client/Participant Portal
o User Portal
• Have the ability to host the DWRL;
• Perform various analytics to help the Centre in planning strategic activities;
•List all available courses and course schedul
Scope of Work
Respondents are being asked to provide documentation describing the features of their off-the shelf, available LMS and prepare and present an overview of their LMS, highlighting the unique benefits it would offer the Centre. Following the presentation there will be a question-and-answer period where the Centre’s stakeholders will seek clarification on the presented system and presenters will be able to ask questions.

Respondents are asked to:

Provide a 30-minute presentation on how your Learning Management System works and the unique benefits it would offer the Centre.
Virtual or in person presentations are allowed

Prepare for a 30-minute question and answer session following the presentation

Provide a break-down on pricing model.
Provide a document describing the features in your LMS that address all items outlined in section 4.1
